EVENT DETAILS

COURTESY RUNNER RULE

The  Bandit Runner may be anyone on the roster. He/She must be designated before the game begins. He/She will be the Bandit Runner for the remainder of the game. He/She may run for anyone at any time. If he/she is also in the batting lineup, and his turn at bat occurs while he/she is on base, his/her position in the batting order will be an out. There shall be no other penalty.

   The Bandit role may not be substituted.  A Bandit Runner may be replaced on the base only by the player he/she is running for at the time. The Bandit Runner role is then lost for the remainder of the game. As stated earlier……..if his/her “turn at bat” occurs and he/she is ON BASE, an out will be recorded for his/her position in the batting order. There are NO exceptions. His/her turn at bat occurs when the previous batters turn at bat has ended. “Play Ball” or “Batter Up” need not be indicated for his/her turn at bat to occur.    The ONLY way an out is recorded per the Bandit runner is if the runner is caught on base and it his his/her turn to bat.

We will be playing an equalizer.  The REC team will receive 5 runs or an additional Fielder.
We will flip a coin for Home Team.
HR rule will be 1 DHH + 2

At the end of 50 minutes we will 

Finish the inning and play 1 more

COED TEAM CLASSIFACTIONS and RULES

The Equalizer between D and E will be 5 runs. We will do a coin toss to determne Home Team

Format is 5/5 or 6/6    

GATE FEES

There will be gates fees for this event for players and coaches.  The Gate Fee is $7 per day

We appreciate your participation in this event. We value your patronage to USSSA.  Therefore............

If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He or She has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach. Do NOT let the game continue. If the Umpire refuse to stop the game DO NOT CONTINUE. We cannot fix anything after play has continued. This does not mean anything other than you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.
