Rosters and Player Protest

All Rosters must be online.  

The database will not allow an illegal player (classification) to be added to a roster including the pending players, Therefore in the event of a roster protest, any pending player will be ruled eligible as long as he can provide ID that matches his rostered name. The only protest that will be allowed is that a player that is in the game is NOT on the roster.

FACILITY RULES AND REGULATIONS.

        COOLERS are PROHIBITED.   

• Pets are PROHIBITED inside gated areas and playing fields.
• Littering is PROHIBITED.
• Smoking and/or the use of tobacco products in the gated area of the complex is PROHIBITED
• Alcoholic beverages are PROHIBITED in the complex or parking lots.
• Tents/Canopys are allowed in grass areas within the complex.
• Park only in designated areas within the parking lots. Vehicles parked on the grass and/or curbsides are subject to ticketing or towing
• Food, gum and sunflower seeds are PROHIBITED inside gated area.
• Grilling or open fires are PROHIBITED. 
• Bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters are PROHIBITED in gated areas.
• Climbing on fences, bleachers, trees or railings is PROHIBITED.
• Throwing or hitting balls of any kind into the fences is PROHIBITED.
• Hitting of golf balls is PROHIBITED inside the complex
• Driving stakes into the field is PROHIBITED.
• Weapons are PROHIBITED on the property.
• Trespassing after hours is PROHIBITED.

SC State Rules

• Floating Rubber Pitchers will not be required to “toe” the pitching rubber. They may be up to 6’ behind the pitching rubber and within the pitching box.                                                                                                     
• Starting lineups   Teams may start with 8 players. Teams starting with 8 or 9 do not have to take an out for the missing players. Teams starting with less than 10 may add up to 10 when available but they must be added to the bottom of lineup.                                                                                                              
• A Batter who “bats” a ball, Fair or Foul, with an "illegal bat will be declared out". This is an         “APPEAL PLAY” which must be appealed by the defense before the next pitch is thrown

We appreciate your participation in this event. We value your patronage to USSSA.  

If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach.                                           Do NOT let the game continue. We cannot fix anything after play has continued. This does not mean anything other than the fact that you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.
