DIVISIONS
POOL PLAY WILL BE COMBINED WITH EQUALIZERS IN EFFECT.
After Pool Play the divisions will be seperated as follows with the same Equalizer rules in effect.
Men's 40 AAA Brkt A 6 teams
Men's 40 AA Brkt B 4 teams
Men's 50 Brkt C 3 Teams
EQUALIZER
HOME TEAM in all divisions will be decided by coin toss.
Section 8. EQUALIZER RULES
8.1. When a lower-class or older age group team is playing a higher-class or
younger age group team, lower or older team will have one of two
options:
8.1.1. OPTION 1 - Five (5) runs per game (Awarded one (1) run an
inning for the first 5 innings)
8.1.2. OPTION 2 - 11th defensive player
8.1.3. If divisions are combined, the run limit per inning rule will be the
lower classification.
8.1.4. When there is a 2 (or more) classification or age group difference
in the opposing teams, the tournament director reserves the right
to implement both Option 1 and Option 2 to make the game
competitive.
8.2. Director reserves the right to not grant an equalizer when the older age
group team is classified higher than the younger lower classified team.
8.3. Points Awarded - All lower-class teams playing up in class, will be placed
in the order they finish with all similar class teams in the event. (example:
The highest finishing team in each class will receive first (1st) place
points for the event regardless of their actual finish.)

If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach. Do NOT let the game continue. We cannot fix anything after play has continued. This does not mean anything other than the fact that you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.

All approved models must comply, in all respects, with the USSSA Ball Performance Standards. Any unit that fails to meet these standards is noncompliant and is not permitted in USSSA or GSL sanctioned play.
In addition to the requirement that a model must comply, in all respects, with the USSSA Ball Performance Standards, to be eligible for USSSA Sanctioned play, the USSSA Certification Marks and all other graphics must be applied permanently, and may only be applied by a current USSSA-licensed manufacturer. The use of stickers or decals is prohibited, and no additional graphics may be added to a ball after manufacturing. A ball with graphics not applied by the licensed manufacturer is an “altered ball”, is Non-Compliant and is subject to suspension under the USSSA Altered Ball rules.
Any unauthorized use, creation, or application of a USSSA Certification Mark without written permission from USSSA is a violation of federal trademark law and may result in prosecution by USSSA.

Courtesy Runner Rule
5.5. Courtesy Runner (Unlimited)
5.5.1. Any legal player on the team’s roster can be a courtesy runner,
but only once per inning.
5.5.2. Once the courtesy runner occupies the base, the selected
courtesy runner may not be exchanged for any other desired
courtesy runner. Penalty for violating this rule is the base runner
will be an out.
5.5.3. If the courtesy runner is still on base at the time his/her turn at bat
comes up, that spot in the batting order will be an out.
5.5.4. A baserunner using a courtesy runner cannot run for any other
