Womens Courtesy Runner Rule

The Bandit Runner may be anyone on the roster. He/She must be designated before the game begins. He/She will be the  Bandit Runner for the remainder of the game. He/She may run for anyone at any time. If He/She is also in the batting lineup, and his/her turn at bat occurs while he/she is on base, his/her position in the batting order will be an out. There shall be no other penalty.

    The  Bandit role may not be substituted.  A Bandit Runner may be replaced on the base only by the player he/she is running for at the time. The Bandit Runner role is then lost for the remainder of the game. As stated earlier……..if his/her “turn at bat” occurs and he/she is ON BASE, an out will be recorded for his/her position in the batting order. There are NO exceptions. His turn at bat occurs when the previous batters turn at bat has ended. “Play Ball” or “Batter Up” need not be indicated for his/her turn at bat to occur.    The ONLY way an out is recorded per the Bandit runner is if the runner is caught on base and it his/her turn to bat.

PLAYERS and COACHES Please Read!

We appreciate your participation in this event. We value your patronage to USSSA.  Therefore............

If at any time during a game in this event, you feel the need to speak with a director, please inform your umpire. He or She has been instructed to grant your request. This request needs to come from the coach. Do NOT let the game continue. If the Umpire refuse to stop the game DO NOT CONTINUE. We cannot fix anything after play has continued. This does not mean anything other than you will be able to speak with a director. Erroneous rule interpretations may be corrected. Judgement calls are always at the discretion of the Umpire.

Seniors Rules

Home Run Rule for this Event will be 2 and 1 UP

All games will be a 50 minute time limit at the end of 50 mins, we will finish the inning we are in, and play one more.

Pool games tied after 7 innings or Time Limit will end in a tie. 

All teams will then be placed a double elimination Bracket which will be seeded based on Pool Play Results.  

Pool Standings Sorted on the following:

3) Number Loses - Ascending
4) Tied Teams (vs. each other) Winning Pct - Descending [Not valid if all tied teams have not played each other]
5) Avg Points Allowed - Ascending
6) Avg Run Differential with a maximum of (100) - Descending
7) USSSA Points - Descending
8) Date Team Entered USSSA Database

Once past a tie breaker do not return to previous

As you may know, there was a temporary ban on Suncoast and Juno Bats.They had testing issues and it was deemed a safety issue
